I promised you 21 posts during this “Feeling Fit and Fab Blogpost Challenge.” Here we are on Day 21. I hope that these posts have opened the way to a greater understanding of achieving Biblical success through applying God’s promises. God wants us to experience His goodness in every area of our lives—every day
of our lives.
Wow, think of what I just said!
Imagine what a day in your life would look like if everything you thought, everything you decided, and everything you did led you to success?
If you are like me, at the beginning you might have felt guilty for even thinking about that much success. But let’s take a look at our “Proverbs Promise” once again—
Roll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him;
He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will,
and]
so shall your plans be established and succeed.
Proverbs 16:3 (AMPC)
Do you see any limitations or exclusions here? Read it again to make sure. This time personalize it like this. “Karol, if you commit your plans to Me—and trust Me, I will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to My will. Karol, it’s then that you will be established and it’s then that you will succeed.”
Instead of wasting our efforts, our time, and our money—we would know what to do and do it. No more yo-yo dieting on our own. No more trying and failing. No more white-knuckling a plan that only lasts three weeks. No more emotional roller coaster! Instead, we would enjoy God’s peace and experience His success.
Each day in the last two months, we had an opportunity to take God’s written word into the “lab” to see if it had validity. Our desire was to make healthy decisions concerning the stewardship of our body.
Let me ask—
- When you did your part, did God do His?
- When you did what you felt like doing, what happened?
- What did you learn about God during these last two months?
It is my prayer that you discovered just how powerful the “Proverbs Promise” really is—-for all
