If you have been following my blog for a while, you are familiar with my foundational promise from God’s Word:
Roll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him;
He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will,
and] so shall your plans be established and succeed.
Proverbs 16:3 (AMPC)
Our thoughts control how we feel and those feelings have a great influence on the choices we make throughout the day. When we choose to partner with God, our thoughts come into alignment with His good plan for us.
The Bible says --
"For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord.
“They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.
In those days when you pray, I will listen.
If you look for Me wholeheartedly, you will find Me.
I will be found by you,” says the Lord.
“I will end your captivity and restore your fortunes."
Jeremiah 29: 11-14 (NLT)
Are you ready to end this “captivity" and begin a new way of living? Allow me to pen a prayer as we begin our journey to our “new normal.”
“Father, I commit my plans to You. Cause my thoughts to agree with Your will so I can think right thoughts today. I know you have a good plan—not only for this day—but for all my days. Give me a fresh spiritual and mental attitude today and a new perspective for all my tomorrows.”

When we talk to God about our concern, the Bible says we can expect that God will cause our thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and then we’ll know what to do. It’s not as hard as we think. As we spend time with God, it will become our key to success.
