Over the last six weeks, I have been sharing about having a working
relationship with God in our every day lives. It is my prayer that you are experiencing a precious relationship with God like never before.
When we commit our daily plans to God we are saying, “I have a bunch of things on my agenda today, but I want to move throughout this day with You.”
It always amazes me what transpires on days that I am intentional about letting God take the lead. He removes any kind of stress due to my poor planning. No back-tracking and do-overs!! He brings simplicity in even the most difficult decisions. He saves me time, money, and effort so at the end of the day I can say, “This has been an amazing day!” There’s nothing like beginning and ending the day with God!
In the absence of stress, confusion, and indecision, there is peace. In this peace, we are more apt to recognize those thoughts that we know we did not think. I don’t know about you, but I want all the “God-thoughts” I can get! It makes life an adventure because God has ideas that I could never have even imagined!
“No eye has seen,
no ear has heard,
and no mind has imagined
what God has prepared
for those who love him.”
But it was to us that God revealed these things by His Spirit.

We can spare ourselves a lot of trouble, heartache, confusion, exhaustion—and not to mention wasted time and money—by inviting God into the very start of each day.
