SIMPLICITY

One of the definitions of the word “snippet” according to dictionary.com, is a “small piece snipped off.” In the coming blog posts, I would like to share some “snippets” from my book The 30-Second Prayer That Changes Everything
and also from my journal.
Here’s the first snippet:
Recently I heard a minister say, “The Holy Spirit of God will always bring things back into simplicity.”
I loved hearing that because if it is simple, it becomes more doable.
Things in life can become complicated very quickly. Take this last year for example. All of a sudden, life as we knew it changed and we had to learn how to live differently. Success was attained through taking our overwhelming lives and bring them to simplicity.
How do we do that? We invite God to become involved in our daily concerns by praying this simple prayer based on Proverbs 16:3 (Amplified Bible/Classic Edition).*
Father, I commit this situation to You.
Cause my thoughts to agree with Your will—
So I know what to do!
After you have committed your concerns to God, go about your day being mindful that God may want to adjust your plans. He can see everything in your life from His
vantage point, and He’s very willing to guide you toward the success that you are unable to see. As your life becomes simplified, your heart will gladly thank your wonderful God.

We’ve been given the key to Biblical success. It’s hidden in plain sight in the pages of the Bible. When we talk to God about our concern, the Bible says we can expect that God will cause our thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and then we’ll know what to do. It’s not as hard as we think. As we spend time with God, it will become our key to success.
