ACTIVATION

Our “Powerful Proverb’s Promise” was hidden in plain sight within the pages of the Bible, but it is hidden no longer. It’s right there ready and waiting for us to activate it in our daily lives.
At the beginning of every day, we can say—
Father, I commit this day to You.
Cause my thoughts to agree with Your will—
So I know what to do!
(Based on Proverbs 16:3 AMPC)
I have shared this with you before but today I want you to imagine what it would be like if you and everyone around you
— everyone in your family, your workplace, your church, your circle of friends, had Proverbs 16:3 activated
in their lives. Stop right here and think about it!
Is there a smile on your face? If not, there should be!
Here is the image that comes to my mind:
- ALL OF US believe, without a shadow of a doubt, that God loves each of us.
- ALL OF US convinced that God can be trusted.
- ALL OF US are willing to commit our plans, our ideas, our decisions to God.
- ALL OF US ask to have our thoughts come into alignment with God’s will.
- ALL OF US established in peace and moving forward in the right direction.
- ALL OF US experiencing SUCCESS!!
- ALL OF US thanking God for this wonderful experience.
What is missing here? Disagreement? Stress? Distrust? Fear? Confusion? Failure?
The things that remain are love all around, faith in God and each other, willingness to work together, peace, success, and gratefulness.
Life would be good, right? We might even be adding years to our lives, not to mention joy to our days.
We can’t make
anyone else besides ourselves do anything. But if we activate a lifestyle of committing our
plans to God, we would be reflecting the character of God wherever we go, and maybe — just maybe— someone would ask, “Why are you so joyful all the time?”
“And so, My children, listen to Me,
for all who follow My ways are joyful."

Beginning the day with God puts us in a posture of surrender. We release our plans, seek His wisdom, and step into the peace that comes from trusting His direction.
