We’ve been doing this together for almost two weeks and I am hoping that you are feeling good about where this journey is taking you. If you have been reading these posts and thinking
about applying these action steps, this is the perfect time to jump in. Remember, this is not a diet or an exercise program but instead—
A springboard
for a new way of living!
It is meant to get you started so you discover how great it is to feel good in your spirit, soul, and body—so much so that you want
to make the right choices each day! You feel good in your spirit because you are taking care of the body that God gave you—in your soul because you are thinking straight and making choices which are not based on your emotions—and of course, you feel good in your body as you shed extra the pounds and inches that do not belong to you. You also experience a sense of well-being when you hydrate, strengthen, and get the sleep that is necessary for your body’s optimum performance.
As we commit our daily plans to God, He becomes our Life Coach, our Nutritionist, and our Trainer. God designed each of us so He knows what we need better than anyone else. The Bible says—
You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body
and knit me together in my mother’s womb.
Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex!
Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it.

As we commit our plans to God (Proverbs 16:3 AMPC), He promises to cause our thoughts to become agreeable to His will so that we can be established
in healthy habits. Aren’t you glad that each and every day—help is on the way?

Beginning the day with God puts us in a posture of surrender. We release our plans, seek His wisdom, and step into the peace that comes from trusting His direction.
