Finding Our New Normal #12

What do we want to remember about the spring and summer of the “Coronavirus of 2020?”
Did we love more, have more patience, become more creative, start or continue our exercise program, get to know our family better, or grow deeper in our relationship with God?
If any of the above scenarios are true of you—twenty, forty, fifty years from now—you will be happy to tell others about your positive outcome of the “Coronavirus of 2020.”
We are over halfway on our 21-Day journey to find our “New Normal.” How do we want to be when this is over—and how do we want to be remembered by others?
I would like to review what I have written so far:
1.God has a good plan for us. (Jeremiah 29:11-14 NLT)
2.God is so good that He desires to take the bad things in this world and work them for our good. (Romans 8:28 MSG)
3.God never turns away from doing good. (James 1:17 NLT)
4.We will be secure when we anchor ourselves in the truth of God’s Word. (Psalms 91:1 AMPC and Hebrews 6:19 NLT)
5.God is calling each of us into His family where we never have to feel alone and vulnerable again. (Romans 8:15 TPT)
6.When life becomes too big for us, we can bring our questions and concerns to God and He will be right there to help us. (1 Peter 5:7 NLT)
7.True success in this life can only be found in partnership with God. (Proverbs 16:3 AMPC)
8.When negative emotions threaten to surface, our first line of defense is to be still and bring those emotions to God. (Isaiah 26:3 NLT)
9.Sometimes our first line of defense is finding someone to blame. But did that accomplish anything? (Romans 12:18 AMPC)
10.If you aren’t sure God can be trusted, share your concerns with Him
at a daily “meeting.” If you wonder whether He is listening, pretend that He is! (Jeremiah 33:3 NLT)
11.Parents like to hear the words “thank you” from their children. Our Heavenly
Father likes to hear those words too. (Psalms 138: 1-3 MSG)
We have ten more posts left in our journey to becoming the person we want to be. In the meantime, let’s review our last eleven days and make sure that we are working them into our lives.
