Making Healthy Choices #6

As you know there are zillions of diets out there — and there is probably one that you think might be a good fit for you. I know the one that I would like to use so I can make healthy choices. The difference between going on a diet and using a diet found in the following scripture:
So don’t let anyone lead you astray with all sorts of novel and exotic teachings. It is more beautiful to feast on grace and be inwardly strengthened than to be obsessed with dietary rules
which in themselves have no lasting benefit.

Note the word “obsessed”. If we are obsessed with going on
a particular diet, we are more than likely going to fall off
the diet after a while.
I think it’s alright to use what others recommend, but let’s make sure we make room for God to give us His
thoughts concerning what will cause our bodies to run at peak performance.
