PEACE

The Bible says that “peace” is available to us. It is a gift from God that Jesus was giving to His followers because He knew their world was about to turn upside down. In the previous chapters, Jesus explained to them all the events leading up to His crucifixion. Despite all the devastating details, Jesus told them—
“I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart.
John 14:27 (NLT)
A while back I was talking with a young lady who was explaining an agitating circumstance that she was facing. I listened intently, and when she was finished I simply said, “Here’s what I have found to be true — there is no peace outside of God.”
Those words seem to hang in the air for both of us—
“There is no peace outside of God.”
We might have what seems like temporary times of peace only to find out they are here one moment and gone the next. But how do we access the kind of peace that sustains us through every circumstance of every
day of our lives? We do that by first becoming one of His children. Click on Prayer

Once we become His child, He instructs us to commit each
of our days (each decision, circumstance, event, etc.) to Him. When this becomes your lifestyle, you will enjoy the gift of peace that He wants His children to have. And always remember, the closer you walk with Him, the more of Him you will experience.
