Peace On Earth

Are you familiar with the lyrics, “Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me?”
It’s such a nice thought, but the question is, “Do I have enough peace to share with others?” And if not, how and where do I get more?
In the following scriptural promise, God invites us to come into partnership with Him so we can think as He thinks. God isn’t anxious about anything — and we don’t have to be either. He’s not overwhelmed with His workload or at loss for gift ideas. I don’t know about you, but I want to be around Him as much as possible!
Here’s His invitation to walk out the month of December with Him:
Roll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him;
He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will,
and] so shall your plans be established and succeed.
Proverbs 16:3 (AMPC)
When we are in sync with God’s will, our hearts are at peace. God knows what to do when to do it, and how to do it. When we invite Him to share His thoughts with us, we will be at peace as we follow His instructions.

What do you believe about yourself? Do you really believe that you can gain five pounds by just looking at food? These thoughts came to mind a few weeks ago.
