WHAT TO DO??

We all have many situations to face in a day. Some are easy to resolve and, some are not. We need extra help. And guess what?? God knew that and provided the solution before we ever needed it.
About ten years ago, I discovered this powerful truth in God’s Word:
Roll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him;
He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will,
and] so shall your plans be established and succeed.
Proverbs 16:3 (AMPC)
Over the years, I learned that I could roll my cares, questions, and concerns upon the Lord. I sometimes follow that up with, “I have tried everything! I am at the end of my rope! Now it’s just between You and me.” When I get that desperate — you know, desperate enough to turn to God — He is right there with my instructions.
Sometimes a thought comes to me of who I can call upon for help. Other times the solution comes directly to me — again in a thought. No matter how it comes, I am extremely grateful. It’s so nice to have even the smallest stress factors removed from the day!
I must say that I feel humbled when the solution comes. It makes me wonder why I waited so long to ask for help when I could have had it immediately. God has the answers to all our dilemmas, and He wants to help. He’s the Best Friend we will ever have.
God wants us to apply His promises to our lives. Let’s do it right now in the form of a 30 Second Prayer. (Sound familiar, anyone??)
God, I roll this situation upon You.
Cause my thoughts to agree with Your will—
So I know what to do?
This simple, almost child-like prayer is very powerful. If we sincerely prayed these words, we are humbling ourselves before Him by asking for His help — and that is always a good thing because it puts God front and center — again, is always a good thing!
So how about you?? Are you willing to apply Proverbs 16:3 to your life? If this is your first time, I encourage you to do it for just one day. If you are a champion of this promise, try it for 30 days.
Who wouldn’t want to experience success? It brings us joy and we respond by going back to God with gratitude in our hearts!
