November 1st is just a few days away and I am more excited than ever about walking out the next two months with you. I know the idea to do “21 Days To Feeling Fit and Fab” was from God. He knows that if we are feeling good about ourselves, we ourselves will be healthier and happier—AND we will be a reflection of His goodness to others.
Here’s our opportunity to take the encouragement we receive from Him and share it with those around us. Heaven knows that people need to have something—or shall I say Someone—to believe in. We all need to know that God cares about our everyday lives. I am particularly fond of this promise:
So we are convinced that every detail of our lives
is continually woven together to fit into God’s perfect plan of bringing good into our lives, for we are His lovers who have been called to fulfill His designed purpose.

As we offer God these next two months—one day at a time— and allow Him to guide us through, we will not only feel healthier—we will be
healthier.
Recently, I heard a teaching on taking care of this body God has loaned
to us. She used a simple illustration that made this principle super clear to me. Let’s say that your boss owned a super high-end car like a Porsche, a Tesla, or a Mercedes-Benz and he or she loaned it to you for a month. How would you take care of it?
First of all, you would put premium gas into the tank. Then you would keep the inside and outside clean. If there was a scuff on the exterior, you would quickly wax it out. If there was lint or dust on the inside you would remove it quickly. And knowing that everything was done right, you would enjoy driving it.
That’s what God wants us to do—enjoy our days. In order to do that, we must feel good. We do that by taking care of ourselves well. We have tons of resources and information available to us so let’s go ahead and make our plan for a healthy holiday. Beginning November 1st, we will walk out each day with God and allow Him to help us so that on January 1st we will be energized to start a brand new year!!

If we truly want more of God in our lives, we have to be willing to make room for Him. And that’s not always easy. But we’re not expected to do it alone.
