Don’t you just love it when you have a day when everything falls into place? There are no delays, but instead, everything comes together in an effective and timely manner? On days like this, our hearts are filled with joy because of all that transpired and we go to bed with peace in our hearts.
On one such day, I asked God a question that I did not expect Him to answer. I said, “Father, do you think I could have another day like this tomorrow?”
God is the Author of “good,” so if something comes under the heading of “good,” then He’s all for it! If we come with committed hearts that want His will over our own, He is very willing to lead us into successful outcomes…every day!
Today I want to share with you how to create a daily momentum for success based on Proverbs 16:3 (AMPC). There are five simple components to this process that you can put into play each and every moment of each and every day.
1. Make a plan and commit it to God.
“Father, here’s what I plan to do today. What do you think?”
2. Have mental conversations with God throughout the day. “Father, I don’t want my own way. I am willing to make any necessary changes.”
3. Move forward with your plan, asking God’s guidance as you go. “Should I do this or not? How should I proceed?
4. Be mindful of the thoughts that come to you and follow their lead. “Oh, good idea! I can do that.”
5. Thank God for His amazing help. “Father, thank You for helping me make the right choices today, and thank You for making this an amazing day!”
We begin with trusting God and we end with thanking Him for His amazing goodness towards us.
And remember—the operative word is practice!
Practice until these five components become second nature to you. You will be so glad you did!

Beginning the day with God puts us in a posture of surrender. We release our plans, seek His wisdom, and step into the peace that comes from trusting His direction.
