Today I want to share with you a strategic tool to eliminate stress, frustration, and disappointment from your daily life.
In my last post, I shared the five components to keep the momentum going, based on Proverbs 16:3. The first one was committing our plans to God. Secondly, we have mental conversations with God, asking Him to cause our thoughts and activities to be in sync with His will. Then we begin to walk out our plans, all the while asking God for His guidance. You might say something like, “God, You can change, cancel, or insert any plans that You like. My times—my every moment—it’s all in Your hands.” (Psalms 31:15 TPT)
Roll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him;
He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and]
so shall your plans be established and succeed.

Let’s say that it is Sunday evening and you are making preparations for the week ahead. You have your calendar in front of you and you are filling in your responsibilities and commitments. If you view all the moving pieces of your week as tentative,
you won’t be rattled if things change or become disappointed when something is cancelled.
You guide me with Your counsel,
leading me to a glorious destiny.

When we talk to God about our concern, the Bible says we can expect that God will cause our thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and then we’ll know what to do. It’s not as hard as we think. As we spend time with God, it will become our key to success.
